Beep beep. Beep beep. Beep beep. A tan hand reached out and tried to wack the top of the clock saying snooze. The searching hand couldn't seem to find it, as the beeping continued on loudly, ignoring it's owners wishes for it to shut up. Kevin groaned, and sat up, deciding to just give in. Bleary eyes glanced dazedly at the time, an another moan of complaint was given. It was 5:30 in the morning! Why was he up at this time? As far as he knew, nothing important was going on for the Jonas Brothers. Kevin sighed and got up, trying to keep quiet, because his younger brothers were most likely asleep in the rooms next to him. Even if his alarm was loud, they wouldn't hear it. Lucky them that's all he could think as he pulled on jeans and a white shirt. There wasn't a lot of focus that he could put on it. He was too tired. He let out a loud yawn, and ruffled his hair.
Kevin pulled on black shoes, grabbed a black jacket, put his wallet into his pocket, and pulled on sunglasses. There was only one place he would go at five thirty in the morning. And that was starbucks. Kevin never found out a way to keep people with cameras from stalking him, but he tried to ignore their presence. He left his family's place and yawned, walking over towards Starbucks. Walking was peaceful, and it also didn't cause pollution, something he worried about often enough. Kevin sighed as he heard the familiar clicking of cameras, which meant some photographers were crazy enough to be up at this time just to take pictures of Kevin taking a stroll. Lovely. He ruffled his hair, heard some more clicks, and couldn't help but laugh. Some people just had no lives. Kevin opened the door to starbucks and smiled with relief. He would hopefully be left alone to get coffee and sit in there for a bit.

taylor swift was developed in a peaceful slumber. today just happened to be one of the rare days she was off, which usually meant sleeping in for the teenager. but this peaceful slumber was interrupted by the blaring of a phone. her own, actually. blaring the familiar tune of you found me by the fray. taylor groaned as she rolled over in her bed. with blurry eyes she glanced over at her alarm clock, seeing that it was five thirty. her eyes widened and she huffed. who in the world could be calling her at this time? she reluctantly pulled herself out of bed, determined to stop the music. she almost fell from the pressure of her weight that her body didn't want to carry at this hour. it must have been a funny sight, the nineteen year old stumbling around for iphone, until she found it perched on her dresser. wiping her eyes, she glanced down at her phone. it was austin. her brother! taylor rolled her eyes as she answered the phone. after a quiet irritable conversation with her brother she hung up. he was currently in new jersey, which was about a three hour time difference from california. it was eight thirty there and he hadn't thought about the time. taylor wasn't really mad, she was just a little irritated at having been woken up. because anyone who knew taylor knew that once she had been woken up, she had no hope of falling back asleep.
so the young blonde could only think of one thing. a trip to starbucks. that place was like her sancutary, she would die if she was ever in a town that didn't have one. coffee helped her stay awake, even though her mother voiced her opinion that taylor was too young for coffee numerous times. she shuffled over to her closet, finding a outfit in moments. she discarded her pajams, throwing her outfit. leaving her pajamas on the floor, she was too tired to pick them up at the moment. taylor rushed into the bathroom, quickly brushing her teeth, and pulling her messy curly blonde hair into a loose ponytail. afterwards, she slipped on shoes, grabbed her cell phone and headed out of the door. making sure to leave a note for her mother in case she woke up and found that taylor was out. being a young celebrity, the cameras were something that common. taylor was pretty much used to it now, but it was still slightly annoying. she gave a tired small, deciding to walk instead of taking her car. the sun wasn't up yet, and it would be quiet and peaceful. maybe that was what she needed to fully wake her up. it only took her moments to arrive at the starbucks, the hood of her hoodie was up to try to keep people from recognizing her. she loved her fans, but it was just to early in the morning for encounters. she was relieved to find that the place was nearly empty. as she looked around she spotted a familiar face, kevin jonas. she hadn't talked to him since her nasty breakup with joe awhile back. but she had liked kevin, he was a awesome guy. walking up beside him she gave a small smile. "hey there."

Kevin let out another yawn as he asked for a vanilla cappucino, paying for the money, and smiling tiredly at the shop person. People here didn't spazz out when he came in and bought things. Which was just as well, because he got followed around and people got all excited a lot of the time anyway. Kevin was still not quite used to being so well liked. He found it still like a dream, a surprisingly good one that he and his brothers had become so famous because of their music. Getting his drink, he smiled to himself, and sat down. He couldn't believe he was up this early, but it hadn't been likely that he'd be able to sleep again if he tried. So it was best that he had come to starbucks instead. After all, there was no better way for him to get wide awake than by drinking coffee. Kevin sat there pretty comfortably, not expecting anyone he knew to be up at this hour. But then he spotted a familiar blonde entering the coffee shop. At first he thought he was just seeing things, but then the girl walked over to him.
Seeing her face, he knew it for sure. It was Taylor Swift, a country pop star, who used to date his brother Joe. She was a sweet girl, and he felt bad for her that his brother had broken up with her by phone. But then, they were constantly on the move, so it was partly unavoidable to end up that way. Kevin took a sip of his coffee, smiling happily at it, because it warmed up his body so easily. Taylor said hi to him, which made him smile even brighter. He hadn't really expected her to, since it had been a bad break up. Everyone knew it too, so Kevin had never tried talking to her out of random, because he didn't want to bother her. "Hi Taylor. Long time no see. How've you been?" Kevin spoke with a grin, glad that she chose to talk to him. It made being awake kind of worth it then, if she decided to say hi. After all, he wanted to know how she was, and he hadn't gotten the chance to really talk to her before. Mostly because when they had played together, afterwards she was generally with Joe.

the young blonde stared absentmindedly at the large menu behind the cashiers for a few moments, even though she knew exactly what she wanted a carmel non fat latte. it was her current obsession and she ordered it everytime she came within a five foot radius of a starbucks. after ordering, she waited patiently. ignoring the shocked look of the cashier's face. the person must have been new, because she was in here all the time. everyone had pretty much gotten adjusted to her now, so their was no fan outbreaks or shocks. she loved all that had happened to her in the past three years. she just couldn't believe all her dreams were coming true. taylor had always dreamed of being known for her music, it was after all what she loved. and to know that everything was a reality sometimes made it surreal. she hadn't changed, she was still incredibly down to earth and she became starstuck very easily. after recieving her coffee, she thanked the cashier.
their weren't many more available seats in the store, so she slipped into the one across from kevin jonas. he had always seemed cool to her, and she wasn't angry with him. to tell the truth she had vented her worth and had put the whole thing behind her. she took a small sip of her drink, cringing slightly as the hot taste burned her tongue. she smiled as kevin spoke to her. she wasn't sure if he would because she didn't know if he had sided with joe, or if he disliked her. "i know, it's sad really." taylor said with a slight giggle. "i've been really good actually, just busy. how about you?" she asked him, actually interested. she was glad they were getting the chance to talk, because truthfully before this moment they never really did. she had always been with joe. but kevin had always seemed like a really nice guy. and at the moment, he was probably her favorite jonas.

Kevin smiled warmly at her as she sat down across from him, hearing the familiar camera click noise. Well, this would be so newsworthy. He could see it now, them wondering whether he and Taylor were a couple. Newspeople blew everything out of proportion. Kevin shrugged at her and rolled his eyes. It was what happened when you became fmous. Definitely something you should think about. If you weren't truly passionate about the music, or the movie-making, it was a bad idea to get into it. Going for the money was probably the worst reason to do it. Kevin got overwhelmed by the spotlight often enough. The only reason he could handle it, was because he had the music. And that was what had caused him to be into doing the fame sort of thing. He wanted others to enjoy music, the music he and his brothers wrote. Spreading music for others to enjoy was great. It felt like Kevin was sort of sharing his love of it with other people. And that was cool. He wanted more people to become enthusiastic about it. Kevin never felt that anyone could go wrong with music in their lives.
He listened quietly as she talked. He had been raised with manners, so he didn't interrupt, or try to speak as she did. Ladies first after all, and besides, she was answering his question. Kevin never really had the chance to talk to her before, so now he was glad he could. She had an amazing voice, and it had been fun when they had toured together. He hadn't known much about Joe and Taylor's relationship though. It wasn't his business so he kept himself from asking questions about it. Besides, Taylor and Joe both would have their own versions of what happened. And Kevin personally didn't need to be choosing sides on this. "Yeah it is. But you're still pretty as always, so you're good." Kevin spoke with a grin, but it was very true. He didn't see a lot that had changed with her. She was definitely still beautiful, still so nice, he was glad to know that. Some people did change through the years, some more than others. It did bother him sometimes, because then he had no idea what to say.
Kevin nodded. Everyone was busy these days. So much to do, so little time. He took another sip of coffee, feeling it was incredibly soothing. After all, being up this early wasn't exactly the most pleasurable thing. But, now that he had the chance to talk to Taylor, he was perfectly fine with it. "The same really. We're preparing for our world tour. Well actually, currently it's kind of luck that keeps us here for the moment. We're going to be on the move very soon." Kevin spoke warmly, and it was clear how excited he was, by the way his eyes lit up, and he talked about it. And he didn't have to explain to Taylor, that was what was great about it. She knew exactly what he was talking about. Talking to actors, Kevin found it a bit more difficult to really connect with them, because he just wasn't as into the acting thing. "Well it definitely looks like you're doing well for yourself. Keep it up." Kevin complimented her, and he meant every word. Some people just said fake things, but he always tried to mean what he said. He hated doing anything else.
